As part of an overall geothermal design, a site plan should be developed, showing the description and location of buried underground utilities.
The property owner should be consulted to determine areas to avoid, acceptable locations for entry and exit of heavy equipment, and location of special services such as drains or sprinklers. The boundaries of the earth coil field should be carefully measured and staked.
In developing a site plan, remember to mark the location :
- TV cables
- Water lines
- Septic or sewer systems and
- Drain lines
If unforeseen conditions merit altering the plan, be sure to revise the documentation.
